Toon Troopers — Privacy Policy

The data controller responsible for processing your personal data is:

Stored only on your device, never uploaded:

• Your gem balance, unlocked items, daily streak, personal bests and chosen difficulty
• Your display name

This lives in the app's private storage on your phone. Uninstalling the Game deletes it.

Sent to our servers only when you submit a score:

• Display name — auto-generated (e.g. "TROOPER-1234") unless you change it; maximum 20 characters
• Run result: the wave you reached, kills, run duration, and which mission you played
• The time of submission

Sent to our servers only if you connect a wallet and make a purchase:

• Your Solana wallet address
• The identifiers of the items you purchased, so they can be restored if you reinstall

We do NOT collect:

• Email addresses, passwords, or phone numbers
• Real names
• Location, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprints
• Private keys or seed phrases
• Analytics or behavioural tracking of any kind

IP addresses: Your IP address is processed transiently by our hosting provider in order to deliver the request and prevent abuse. It is not stored alongside your leaderboard entry or your purchases, and it is not used to identify you.

• Art. 6(1)(b) — Contract performance: Verifying a purchase you have made and restoring the items you bought.
• Art. 6(1)(f) — Legitimate interest: Leaderboard integrity, bounds-checking submitted scores, and abuse prevention.
• Art. 6(1)(a) — Consent: Submitting a score to the global leaderboard and connecting a wallet are optional actions you initiate.

If you choose to buy an item with SOL or $SKR, that payment is a transaction on the Solana blockchain. It is permanently and publicly recorded, including your wallet address and the amount paid. On-chain data cannot be deleted or modified due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology. Solana network fees for these transactions are your responsibility. If you never make a purchase, the Game writes nothing to the blockchain.

• Leaderboard entries: One entry is kept per display name — your best. Retained until you ask us to remove it.
• Purchase records: Retained while you may still want to restore them on a new install. Deleted on request, although deletion means we can no longer restore those items to you.
• On-chain records: Permanent (the blockchain is immutable).
• On-device data: Never uploaded; removed when you uninstall.

Off-chain data is stored using Netlify Blobs and processed by Netlify serverless functions (United States).

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data (Art. 15)
• Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16)
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17) — except on-chain data
• Restrict processing (Art. 18)
• Data portability (Art. 20)
• Object to processing (Art. 21)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at coffeeonchainsol@gmail.com. To remove a leaderboard entry, tell us the display name it was submitted under.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States (Netlify hosting, serverless functions and Blobs storage). We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by GDPR Chapter V.

• Solana blockchain: Purchases, and reading which items a wallet owns
• Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA): Wallet connection & transaction signing
• Netlify: Backend hosting, serverless functions, and Blobs storage for leaderboard and purchase records
• Solana RPC endpoint: Used to read on-chain state and confirm transactions

The Game contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no social logins.

Toon Troopers is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Game (see Terms). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Toon Troopers does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you (Art. 22 GDPR). Leaderboard rankings are purely informational.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including server-side validation of submitted scores (anti-cheat bounds), CORS restrictions, on-chain verification of every purchase before items are granted, and a design in which we never hold, see, or transmit your private keys.

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:
