Play safely. Weird World is played by walking in the real world. Never play while driving, cycling or crossing roads. Watch where you are going, obey traffic laws, and never enter private property, restricted areas or dangerous places to reach something in the game. Section 5 forms part of these Terms.

2. Service Description

Weird World is a location-based mobile game for Solana Mobile. Players walk real streets to open loot crates, fight monsters, capture real-world buildings on an in-game map, join clans, and mint hero NFTs. Some features use the Solana blockchain and require a wallet; the game can also be played as a guest without one.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age. The Game is not available to persons in jurisdictions where blockchain-based games, digital assets, or NFTs are prohibited by law, including countries subject to OFAC sanctions.

4. Accounts & Wallet

You may play as a guest, identified by a key stored on your device, or connect a Solana wallet. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, its seed phrase and its private keys; we never receive them and cannot recover them. Guest progress lives on your device — if you delete the app or clear its data without connecting a wallet, that progress is unrecoverable.

5. Real-World Safety — Your Responsibility

• Do not play while driving, cycling, or operating any vehicle or machinery.
• Stay aware of your surroundings: traffic, other people, kerbs, water, cliffs and construction sites do not appear on the game map.
• Do not trespass. Nothing in the game grants permission to enter private property, closed premises, restricted or dangerous areas.
• Obey all applicable laws, local rules and posted signage, and respect other people's privacy and peace.
• Do not play in circumstances where distraction could endanger you or others.

You play at your own risk and are solely responsible for your conduct and safety in the physical world. The game shows places, not conditions; a route on the map is not a statement that a route is safe, legal or passable.

6. Capturing Buildings Grants No Real Rights

“Capturing” a building is a purely in-game mechanic tied to map data. It gives you no ownership, tenancy, licence, access right or any other legal interestin the real building, the land, or anything on it. It confers no right to enter, to remain, or to act in relation to that property. Building geometry comes from third-party map data and may be inaccurate or outdated.

Owners or occupiers who wish a building to be excluded from the game may contact us at the address in section 17 and we will consider reasonable requests.

7. Photos & User Content

You may attach a photo to a building you capture. It becomes visible to other players.

• You must own or have the right to use every image you upload, and taking it must have been lawful where you were.
• Do not upload images of identifiable people without their consent, of private interiors, or content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or infringing.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display your image inside the Game for as long as the capture exists.
• We may remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

8. Fair Play

Falsifying your location (GPS spoofing), automating movement or gameplay, using modified clients, or exploiting bugs to obtain rewards is prohibited and may result in loss of progress and termination. Off-GPS passes and hero perks are the only sanctioned ways to play without physically walking.

9. NOT AN INVESTMENT

Heroes, captured buildings, $SKR and every other in-game item are for entertainment only. They are not investments, securities or financial products, carry no promise of profit, value, liquidity or future utility, and may become worthless. Sparks are an off-chain game currency with no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for money.

10. Payments & Transactions

Paid actions — minting a hero, buying an off-GPS pass, capturing with SOL or $SKR — are executed by you signing a blockchain transaction in your own wallet. Prices are read from on-chain configuration and may change. You also pay Solana network fees, which we do not receive. Blockchain transactions are final and irreversible: we cannot reverse, refund or recover them, including transactions sent in error.

11. Rewards

$SKR rewards from loot crates and other in-game sources accrue off-chain and are claimed through a signed voucher against an on-chain vault. Rewards depend on available vault funds, are subject to change or discontinuation, and are not guaranteed. Nothing here is a promise of income.

12. NFTs & Blockchain Risks

Hero NFTs are minted to your wallet and remain yours to hold or transfer. Blockchain use carries risks we do not control: network congestion or downtime, failed or stuck transactions, protocol changes, wallet or key loss, smart-contract vulnerabilities, and token price volatility. You accept these risks. If you lose access to your wallet, your on-chain assets are unrecoverable by us.

13. Intellectual Property

The Game, its code, artwork, models and branding remain our property or that of our licensors. Map data and 3D building geometry are provided by third parties under their own licences. You keep the rights to photos you upload, subject to the licence in section 7.

14. Availability & Limitation of Liability

The Game is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, seasons or the Game itself.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. Beyond that, liability is excluded — in particular for blockchain events outside our control and for your conduct in the physical world under section 5.

15. Right of Withdrawal

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by initiating a blockchain transaction (minting a hero, buying a pass, capturing a building), you expressly consent to immediate performance of the digital content and acknowledge loss of the right of withdrawal per § 356 para. 5 BGB.

16. Termination & Governing Law

You may stop playing and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Assets already minted to your wallet remain in your wallet regardless.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we are not obliged and not willing to participate in consumer arbitration proceedings.
